Neil,
I fitted the V6 Conversions front end into my FB.
A Couple of points to consider.
The front track is not the same as the shortened diff.
It does take all the Commodore hubs and power steering.
It is a pain in the arse for getting a wheel alignment.
If I done one again I would go with the HR.

Re: Neil's FB Station Wagon
Neil,
I also used Sam for my engineers report.
The request for the Swept test came from the DOT as part of there approval after the modification application went in.
I had it done (don't quote me on this) by Briffa Eng in Bayswater. Heads didn't come off, I drove the car there on a permit,it took ...

Re: Neil's FB Station Wagon
Hi Neil,
That Lokar Shifter looks the same as I have in My FB Sedan. I got mine from the Armadale Speed Shop, came with all the cables/wiring etc to set it up for 4 speed auto and unable to start in Gear etc. They work quite well and look a treat.

Wiper arms
Hi Guys,
I'm chasing a decent RHS Wiper arm c/w the piece that holds the rubber.
I know that you can buy new ones for the FJ's, any chance someone is doing something similar for FB's.
Or would someone have a good used one?
Thanks

Re: Dual circuit master cylinder
Hi,
I have used the clutch mounting area (auto box) and bent the clutch pedal arm around and welded it to the brake arm.
Just another option I guess.

Re: FUEL TANK REPLACEMENT
Guys,
Done the same as Blacky with my FB Sedan (VS Commodore tank), the only difference was I fitted a 3mm plate under the boot area to have a clean area for the tank to fit up against. this also nicely covers the old tank and spare wheel areas.

Re: 1962 EK Ute Perth
Blacky,
It lives in the Mundaring shire and doesn't get out much.
I dont think it will be the one you have seen in the High Wycombe/Kalamunda area.
Its got 62 MDG Plates on it.

I have a 62 EK Ute and are the second owner. It only has ever had the passenger side lock. Maybe something to do with not standing on the road in the traffic while unlocking the car???

I believe this is the requirement in the West. 50 x 80 and spot welded in, 7/16 UNF Bolts
