Just getting around to doing my conversion and got the red motor bracket. Just wondering if you can give me all the measurements of your fabricated bits so I can get it absolutely perfectly made?

Well duh I haven't made the bracket yet, I'm not that much of a girl! What I meant to say is I've lined someone up to make me one once I sort the alternator out.

So any ideas?

Now I just need to find out what the right alternator is. Anyone know if that link to one is suitable?

Hey guys, Been having problems with the old generator recharging, so I've decided I need to do the alternator conversion. I'm just running the old grey in it and just wondering how to go about it. How much should I be looking at paying? This guy is obviously not a reputable seller in all your eyes and I'd rather not give him the time of day if that's the case.

So looks like I should be going with a 3.55.

And I have to change the yoke on the tailshaft? Is that something that's easy to get? Through rarespares and the like or is it also something that is rare?
