Tonight I got the phone holder mounted up - made a couple of plates out of leftover bits that didn’t look like an aerial bracket. Removed the ash tray and knocked up one for each side of the hole, welded a bolt onto the bottom one and used the top one to sandwich the dash then cut the bum out of the ...

Well this is a turnup for the books - went to buy some oil and they didn’t have any - got home thought I would try it again and it’s fine - 15-20PSI at idle …..

Like a glove - the tonneau press stud closes so hopefully it will still be fairly waterproof

Tonight’s mission - make an aerial mount for a UHF radio I am installing.. wanted it out of sight while driving so it went in the back of the tray. Was going to mount it behind the passengers head but my CDO dictated it had to be in the centre just to make it harder seeing as there is a press stud ...

I would think a 202 and trimatic would only be around 100kg lighter than an LS with a 4l60E, 2" lifted springs would be a bit of overkill I think ?

Gonna drop the oil again tomorrow and buy some fresh oil and change it out - the bottle I used was in the shed and already open so maybe the young bloke did something funky with it

HMMM , I need to check gearbox oil tomorrow before releasing the ute off the hoist - better suss out whatever I have on the shelf is GL4 seeing as I STILL haven"t changed the gearbox that sporadically jumps out of top on the way home from the Nats yet..... :roll: :ebiggrin: better pack the occy ...
