I admire how you often take the challenging path rather than the easy route, all the way learning something new and adapting materials to get the ...

Mick, was it Outback Wreckers?
There was a tv show where a mob in W.A were hunting down old cars for scrap hoping they would score a diamond every so often for $$$$$ They made mention of old Holdens that bring the money and it flashed up a pic of your old motor Blacky.

When I bought my Ute years ago it never had the spare wheel clamp. Having the rare factory high performance grey motor there is the real risk of the spare wheel flying out the back when taking off from the lights
Have a spare sedan wheel clamp which I had considered trying to modify but ...

Good work Scott, you gotta love refurbished chrome pieces.
When I did my quarter windows (using Rare Spares seals) I also had a gap at the top, between window & seal. I ended up placing a small washer between frame and metal bracket to close the gap. They seal pretty good now.

Nice work. I recall you had oil pressure issues when you left home with the light being on at idle. How did priming the oil pump all these miles later resolve the issue? So much to learn about these cars / engines on this forum. Thanks
