I have just got a vs commodore diff shortened and rolrong.. Diff with lsd cost $200 shortened cost$500 plus new bearings paint etc extra $160 I've got 17inch rims of vt and 215 40 17 tyres and sitting sweet with good clearances. Could fit 225just

The vr column does accept the ek steering wheel.
And looks like a easier column to fit up. But i think the linkage is to short to v6 conversion

Im doing a v6 convetsion and had bought a
Vr radiator to fit.but i hated how they stuck
So high up.i spent ages measuring and just was not
Happy i went to wreckers with a tape.
Ended up finding a nissan n14 sss radiator with twin thermos
And all mounts for $150.
It is 5% smaller in volume to comm ...

Has any one made there own collaspable steering column.
I have ek and a vk one as well. The outer is the same as the ek. What about welding shaft.?
What does pat gard do on his exchange columns?

I have wheels sorted now. 17 /7inch rims and 215/40/17 and pat gardner front end and hd stubs with 290mm vp v8 discs with vr cailpers.in which r the same as vl vn vp v8 calipers.all on 1 1/2 lowered springs. But i reckon i will get another 1" lower yet before scrubbing problems.pat gardner adaptors ...

My wheels 7 inch wide with worn tires so i can buy a smaller tyre if needed, the xmember is a pat gardner with hq stubs and commo disc, how do 17_7work on drop stubs, thanks for the help too harv. So havr u had trouble with clearances with 15 inch or offset the problem

I wondering how people have gone with clearences with 17inch commodore mags.. I have hq stub commo disc in front but i havent got diff sorted yet..
