gear box

Hi everyone,

I'm pretty sure my gear box has had it. 1st and 3rd are hell to get into and keep making that "kghhrrrrghghghhh" sound of grinding gears everytime i try to put it into gear. It has also made a habit of "kicking" itself out of gear in the middle of my driving.

How much for an overhaul ...

Thanks all,

So even with an alternator attatched i could still be presented with problems? hehe maybe i should just get a comodor! :shock: haha id push my fb with the stereo on if thats what it takes before i do that. And wai-kiki i had the same theory as u, i didnt want to spend the money on some ...

and yes i did disconnect the battery :wink: but thanks for the concern.
will have a look tomorow in the day light.
the wiring isnt original and doesnt have the original coulored wires but i can figure out which ones are which.

ignition switch wiring

hey guys... snapped my key in the ignition and in my rush to take out the ignition switch to get the key out i forgot to tag the wires.... can anyone help in reguard to where the wires go... iv got 4 inputs (IGN, BAT, ACC and SO) and 4 wires... one comes from the fuse box, and one has 3 wires ...
