Re: Ya can’t win them all

The FB sedan is another example of the most popular body style from the Nasco Rural Products Division: the Shooting Landau.

I know of one at Alectown. Roof apart, it's a straight, rust-free body.

Re: HD/HR disc front end - re-conditioning.

you'll have to put plates or something under mounts to set engine back that far, even with a stock firewall my mounts are usually hanging off the rear of the crossmember by about 10mm

Re: Nice wagon

Red motor and trimatic, what size ?

The argument for the red being in a HR could be quashed because the Red was in right up to the UC and HZ and both those had collapsable columns, dual cct brakes, seat belts, demister, drivers side mirror.

It is a pain but necessary cause we do need to keep ...

Re: Nice wagon

Collapsible column, how silly. Like HR had a collapsible column. The one we bought from Trev didn’t require it but that was done over 10 years ago and things have evidently changed. The rest is fair enough. Nice looking car. Don’t think I know it.

All good - I really don't need another crank. I reckon by the time you found one, and someone who knew how to machine it then the costs would not be that much less than either a well-girdled standard one.

Tell me Blacky 525000 kays do you think that engine has ever been freshened before ? Its astounding that a block of steel can travel that far.

it proves a point i've always said when people claim their car has "no rust" unless you've had it apart or had a GOOD dig around, "no rust" is a VERY big claim
