Wanted. EH Sump.

Wanted. EH Sump.
I cracked my sump a couple of months back to a nasty speed bump.
I was on doing about 10 km/h. Anyhow the temporary solution is no longer working. So it's time to get another one.
So if anyone has one they want to part with please let me know.
Thanks

Re: No Brakes.

Got my re coed booster in, bled the brakes and took it for a test run. Brakes seem to work but need a fair bit of force on the pedal. More than they did before the booster crapped itself. Started the car ,then shut it down, removed the vac hose and heard the air suck in. I'm assuming that mean boost...

No Brakes.

The other day i was taking the Ek down the road, got to a t intersection and Brake pedal rock hard could barely get it to stop. less than about 10mm travel from the top. Managed to stop the car and get it home safely. I thought the master cyclinder must have jammed or seized. I removed the Master cy...

Re: Overheating issues.

it was so simple. I had the temp gauge sender mounted in the side of the head. Which was to close to an exhaust port in the blue motor head. Moved the temp gauge sender into the top of the thermostat housing and sits on 180 all day. Apparently you can fit it into the side of the head on a red motor ...

Re: Overheating issues.

I've tried the paper trick already and just about shredded the paper. So i'm pretty confident the thermo fan is ok.

I also tried a larger thermostat no difference. i'll have to look into a shroud.
Thanks
Guys

Re: Overheating issues.

Ok. The car Runs at about 200 degrees F. but climbs higher when stationary (210-215). It makes no difference if your running on the highway. The gauge is a brand new Autometre machanical gauge. And the idiot light is also coming on. Motor seams pretty bloody strong. The cooling system dumps water wh...

Mod plates.

I'm Just getting ready to get all my modifications plated and i spoke to the guy about how much it cost. He told me the plate itself is $110 and then it's $90per mod. Does that sound right? I Thought it was a little bit pricey. As i have 7 mods to get done. Thats $740 just to get mods certified. The...

Re: Smiths Temp Gauge

Thanks Mate. That was going to be my next question. So i definately need a voltage regulator. Is there anyway to determine if the gauge i have actually works, without one, as i brought it second hand and could be wasting my time with it anyway. It might be easier to just use a Manual Temp Gauge. Tha...

Hi, i brought a 2nd hand electric Smiths temp gauge and i'm after a little bit of advice. On the back it has two contact points one is stamped with a "B" the other is a "T" i'm guessing that the one with the B means i wire it to the battery/ accessaries and the one with the T mea...
