also anything from 179 up eg 179 186 202 v6 v8 will need a colapesable colomn . it used to be from 202 up

Surprised they haven't made collapsible column's standard on all fully registered cars regardless of engine size. Not sure what Victoria is up to these days but is something I'm considering ...

Seen a few on eBay over last few months, most claiming to be Nasco yet all look different..! The extension part n elbows/joins mainly.. modified maybe..? Were a variety made..? Anyone have the 'real deal'..?

Yeh got the complete switch/bracket.. first thing I looked for!.. All set up and working great, gear change seems a little noisier than before though, clicky sounds... it was the terminal part that I was missing/wasn't aware of and :roll: didn't think to look at the way brake indicator was set up ...

Don't know really but thought I'd throw this in :) ... when I was sussing the wiring leading to the rear lights, discovered this hiding under electrical tape in the wire leading to the brake/indicator terminals...

Thanks Harv again for your help/advice! Quite simple really once explained and looking beyond reverse lamp socket!.. will use old Blu's indicator terminals and bulbs..

Reverse lamp housing..?

The small things that make ya night! :p I've not long had the reverse lamp wired up in my ek.. the 3 point turn from back lane into garage (no light also) is now tooo easy :) ... query though, is there another segment to the housing that is not normally supplied as standard to the rear light ...

Yeah the Nats was a special day :) Sunday's show n shine was a real treat.. after driving ek for many years and only randomly passing the ol girls a hand full of times to walking into an awesome display of colour, originality and growl was amazing :thumbsup: Thanks everyone! :wink: Leina.. .

Thanks for link Harv :thumbsup: your symptomatology report was spot on.. against grain of enthusiasts though, i went for fibre..

In regards to temp, thinking sender isn't long enough.. it's a mechanical Cockpit Vision 52mm.. ( #180077022 :wink: ) as temp drops off quite quickly after engine turned ...

Tapped the rear cylinder head (also have heater connection in lower thermostat housing) and went for a drive out north and beyond, temp sat on 60' pretty much the whole way?? Outside temp 20 - 25'.. Was informed by Sam, very cool lady at Howard Instruments optimal temp of stock 138's was 90'.. Big ...
