First nats thanks
Thanks for a great weekend! We bummed along with my mate who entered his recently

Is it possible to get a copy of some of the photos in the slide show? There was a ...

Re: 2014 Cowra Nationals - NEWS
I have a quick question
My mate has entered his newly restored FB into the nats. We were hoping to travel with him in convoy with an FJ and an FE.
Are we able to tag along on the saturday in the cruise events or is it for FB EK's only? Happy to pay some sort of fee to tag along, we just wont all ...

FB Yellow/white Sedan Wanted
Hi all
Looking for an FB Special Sedan, in Yellow with a white flash.
Does not have to be a showroom example, but at least, roadworthy and presentable.
Am selling my FJ to fund this, if anyone is interested in a swap?
Cheers
Dave

Re: what lies beneath
The only panels that are different are the two front guards.
Ill probably fix them up, and respray them to original colour. They will look sightly different to the rest of the car, but close enough???
I really like this car, but unless I give it a low budget quick tidy up I cant see myself driving ...

Re: what lies beneath
So, this has got me thinking.....
They grey is badly weathered and wont polish and makes the car look like its been sitting in a paddock for the last 10 years (which it has)
To respray the car I would end up pulling it all apart and obviously do it properly, this will be however several years down ...

Re: Towbar - can you identify the difference?
Aranda Towbars - 07 32083022 QLD and 0297270061 NSW still make towbars to suit FB EK's
Part No T2H153 (sedan and Wagon)
Part No T2H212 (FE -EK Ute & P/van)
We supply/fit towbars here in ACT. This mob came in and gave me the run down regarding their bars, but we have an agreement with another ...

Re: NSW convoy to Narrandera
just a tip,
if your buying fuel at Yass, come into town and get it. Its on average about 8c per litre cheaper than at the Caltex Roadhouse, Plus its a nice quick break off the ugly boring Hume Highway.
I can also offer my Workshop and tools for anyone if they are suffering any dramas by that stage ...

FX FJ's are a beautiful car, kept in original style. Alteration to the body shape, headlights & grille usually ends up looking like vomit.
The general spent a lot of coin engineering and shaping the FX FJ into the iconic shape it became. I would have to say its the most reconised Holden Model by far ...
