Chopped top... U done it?

Hi, could anyone who has previously chopped a ute or sedan,either them self or via a shop, post some basic points as to the process, possible costs if via a shop.. maybe some business names (if around Melbourne or Geelong)maybe pics or a link. Interested in having my ute done that happens to already ...

couple hrs after the first post I "man`d up" and started to have a go at it (cutting out and welding)

hi guys, hoping for a little advice for a first time (wouldbe) restorer. Acid dippers

Any 1 have info on acid dippers (whole body) around geelong or melb that does the "E" coating after the dip? (or is this standard now?)
I have rust in behind the area where the headlining tucks in and inside the door sils and cannot get to it without cutting up

I have the exact same plan on my ute, took me ages to find an auto column (even then it was xpensive and partly broken), good luck

update

Covered with primer filler (to b rubbed back a final time) before putting a light coat of prime to be ready for paint.
