i've been cleaning up an old set off bench seats. using pink magic and a lot off elbow grease. they are turning up well,any suggestions on what to finish them off with. someone mentioned cooking oil or something like that. can any one give me the good oil ,ha ha on how to finish them off

thanks for all your ideas. the gear lock could be a good visual deterant. combined with a simple alarm. i might put the siren in the cab to deafen any one sitting in it. i think parking it in a visable, busy area is also a good idea.

any advice or ideas on a good alarm for our type of cars. the ones ive looked at seem to be for new cars with central locking etc.

i want to use my ek as a daily driver . at the moment any boby could steal it. any suggestions on lock,alarms how to lock the bonnet,etc. my old eh had a plate welded to to bonnet and a matching plate on the radiator support,with a dirty big padlock. and a kill switch in the engine bay.all the alarm...

i picked up a cheap radio to fill the hole in the dash,only thing missing is the knobs. looking for a couple of cheap old radio knobs. i'll just glue them on or something.

my 186 motor seems to run very warm. i was wondering what the recomended advance is. my son set it up at around 6-8 degrees advance i've always set it up by ear.
