:roll: i am doing up an ek and i've bought a 179 motor to go into it.
it came with a hydramatic and i also have a trimatic. i've had a hyramatic
before i my EJ with a 138 and it was a slug. does anyone have any
idea of what the hyra will go like behind a decent motor :?:

:lol: thanks for all your help, i've never done door skins before . do they
fold over on the edges like the original doors or are they drilled and
spot welded. any advise would be helpful.

i was told to use a mig welder and a piece of brass behind the hole. the
idea is the mig wire will not stick to the brass. this is great for large holes.
you start aroud the edges and work to the center. as somone else said
use a drill to clean the inside edge. :)

does anyone know if you can buy new door skins? i need two back door
skins or a couple of good rear doors. i got 9 doors with the car and all
4 rears are screwed. :)

i was curious about door rubbers. i've seen the originals and the outer
rubber is bigger than the inner one. some people say use clark rubber.
do clarks sell both sizes or do you just use the same for both? :?
