Hey guys, sent this post a few months ago (May). Finally got around to it again. I have got the photo this time and maybe you guys can shed some light on the issue. I'm not sure how to use the lobe thingy marked with a red arrow in the photo. I'm sure it's the reason I can't seem to get much tension ...

Does anybody stock these points any more? I have rung Super Cheap and Repco and the OG Speed shop and no-one is really sure whether they can get them any more. Most places say "there's no listing for them any more"....

In case the username didn't give it away, I am in SA but I spose postage wouldn ...

fuel sender unit

Hey guys,

I have a sneaking suspicion my fuel sender unit is rusted to buggery. Just wondering if there is anyone in South Aus who can rebuilt the things. I can remove it and deliver it but I'm not sure I could fix it myself.

Is the variable resistor repairable / replaceable? Or do I need to buy ...

i will take some photos when i get a bit more time. i spose it will wait until then. have been driving for 11months without a handbrake, a few more weeks cant hurt!

handbrake- setting up on original drum brakes

can anyone shed some light on how to set up the handbrake with the original FB drums? there is a cam lobe thingy inside the drum which spins around and tightens up the hand brake but when i use that, it makes it really difficult to adjust the play for the brake linings.

the hand brake is very weak ...

had a similar problem. the cable from the coil that runs to the condensor and then inside the dizzy was not insulated properly from the body of the dizzy. the car turned over and turned over but did not spark. after asking a few questions and fiddling around a tiny piece of electrical tape was all ...
