Should i try another fuel pump or kit the one i have? is there much that can go wrong with them?

Yeah I have had the top off and all was working fine but when I put it back together and drove it ran dry after about a km. Might try another fuel pump.
Before I put a kit through the carby it didn't miss a beat which is odd.

pump seems to be flowing fine bowl is always full is there anyway the float in the carby can die? and if so a way to check its faulty? It works fine on idle had the can see fuel coming into the bowl but when i drive it and give it some it dies and bowl is empty

hey all having problems with the carby on a 202 just a single standard. It was running a little rough so i have run a new carby kit cleaned it all and put it back together reset the float level to 5/8 runs fine on idle but keeps running dry.

Used sealent on both sides of the gasket and now no leaks.

have used a couple different ones now onto my third... but i have spent alot of time looking at the head this arvo and where the oil is coming from there seems to be a little dip is the oil wall.

replaced again today no luck.... oil is coming from the same spot every time the front off the head.

Done a few rocker cover gaskets before not brain surgery but lately have had to do 2 in less then a couple of months and finding everyone has a different way of doing it.
Normally i use cork gasket just give it a light paint and then silicone to bind it to the rocker cover line it up bolt it down ...

I also thougtthere wouldn't have been any difference but when you compare the 2 stock covers there's about 3-4 mm difference in the curve of the front and rear of the cover. So the rocker at either end is rubbing getting hot and cracking.
I have one here to compare the difference but it's not good ...

hey there chasing a 202 rocker in brisbane only have a 186 one at the moment need one to stop the rubbing! if anyone has one original or aftermarket would be great! cheers!

ok spoke to a mate and has told me he thinks that hj wheel cyl should fit hk ht hg models rear but only if its a 4 wheel drum because hk t g models with a factory disc front end had different shoes and wheel cyl? Getting confusing but if anyone could confirm this would be great cheers!

Question about wheel cyl
After some info about some wheel cyl. Needing to replace the wheel cyl on the back on a hk with drums all round.
Are the wheel cyls different between disc front end models and drum front end models?
Also have some wheel cyl here of a hj will they be the same?

Well the story goes i have a hk had a 186 and 3 speed auto and the 186 died. Its four wheel drum and i have put freshish 202 in it havent really taken it out much lately and figured i should probably sort out the engine numbers and so on for rego.
So question is do i need a blueplate even though ...
