Re: Waterless washing

Thanks Jack. is yours painted acrylic or 2 pac ? Reason I ask is acrylic (no clear) is as soft as buggery compared to 2pac and depending on how much dust is on the car the waterless wash can leave scratches.

Cal, mine was originally painted with acrylic, but has since been done with 2-pack. I've ...

Re: Waterless washing

G'day Sam and Cal

I use waterless wash almost all the time and reckon it's great... BUT, the car needs to be fairly clean before I use it. For anything other than dust or light 'smearing' on the paintwork, I wash with rain water first, chamois dry then finish off with the waterless.

If you ...

Re: wanted air cleaners\pair stromberg

Scott, they're yank products; made to suit 97 stroms which are slightly wider neck than aussie stroms. I got a mate to turn some shim rings out of alloy; they then fitted fine - they use grub screws to fit...

(later I realised I probably could have cut up the Leader of the Opposition's aluminium ...

Re: wanted air cleaners\pair stromberg

(cheaper and better quality than the aussie speed ones)

Re: FB shirts

I emailed this bloke and attached a pic of my car; within an hour he replied. Later the same day, he sent me a pic of the modified artwork; looked almost 100% identical to my car.

He happily changed or deleted the bonnet bird, bonnet letters, guard spears, rear guard badges and even deleted the ...

Re: Waterless Car Cleaning

I use it most of the time on my 'pet' car; very happy with the results. HOWEVER, the car MUST be fairly clean to start with. Spray on, wipe clean with microfibre cloth, then polish with a clean microfibre cloth; comes up great (chrome included).
For any real dirt, I wash it with water, dry off with ...

red motor waterpump

G'day All...

Anyone know where I can buy a new red motor (202) waterpump with the CAST impellor? Replacement ones with the pressed steel impellor are easy to find (GMB, etc) but I'd rather one with a cast impellor - can't find one though... :frownn:
