Finally got round to balancing the slicks… kind of...

They mounted the second wheel, and spun it up... The machine was asking for 800g of weight...

... will check with M/T to see if they will warranty.

When Dave did the bodywork, he made some plates. They are the ones traced out on the notebook paper in the photo above. I thought he cut open the c-pillar, put the plate in then stitched it back up. The bottom of the c-pillar is open though - may be able to slip them up from under. When the engineer ...

Non-vented aftermarket fuel cap. It has now gone into the "naughty corner" and the old original-equipment cap is back on the car.

Could be worse, took me 6 months to realise the aftermarket washer bottle on the wagon was not vented. It would heat up, pressurise the tank and dribble down the ...

Pipe union with a small leak that nipped up, or mebbe the faster pneumatic-fed fuel flow dislodged a little dam of silt from the fuel line?

Be interesting to see. Most places accept them provifed they are well bolted down, some want a battery box (to stop the groceries shorting stuff out), some want the box sealed and a vent tube down through the floor pan.
