Ute or van filler neck

Hi all

I'm after a ute or van filler neck , i have a custom tank but need the filler neck to couple it all together. I have the original tank that's in good nick that I'd like to move on to some one that needs one so don't really want to cut it up.

Re: Family Affair Ek Ute

That’s a generous offer sneezy. I do need one for my van but prolly let someone that can come to you get it. That is unless you want to bring it to Stanthorpe.

Re: Family Affair Ek Ute

Is it a collapsible column? If so, the steering wheel end must be mounted using breakaway slip plates bolted to the dash frame to pass engineering and also to be effective. The original mount can still be there but more as a decoration. Sorry if this has been raised previously.
I have a similar ...

Started to mock up fitting the Billet works column late Sunday arvo. Need to get its positioning sorted so I can cut the shaft to length from the steering box. Has anyone in the forum fitted one of these to there build at all ? I did have a search but couldn't see anything .. 20251109_151745.jpg ...

Big thanks to all that helped out with info and measures on where where to punch some holes in for the rear shock mount access. One more job ticked of the list today!!

I know I have to put it on stands again next weekend to sort the rear shocks but I couldn't resist putting the new wheels on and seeing how she looks.

Re: Family Affair Ek Ute

Strewth. That looks very much like what I did with my FC sedan, except that I modified an HT rear shock absorber upper mount member to suit.

From memory, the distance between centres of the mounting holes is 425 mm. The shocks lean inwards at about 45 degrees, and the mounting holes are about 50 ...

Re: Family Affair Ek Ute

Small issue hoping someone may be able to help, with the amount of panel replacement done on the old girl they have forgotten to put in some access holes to get to the rear top shock mount. Would anyone happen to have a picture or a measurement before I take a stap in the dark ? 20251019_120637.jpg ...

Re: Family Affair Ek Ute
