Re: NASCO weathershield
Thanks Harv and Blacky for the images and ideas. Having now looked at the images of the weather shield, it occurs to me that it would likely be incompatible with the peep mirror that has been mounted at the top of the door above the window. I wonder whether it would be feasible to design and make a ...

Re: Dash lights work with parkers but not headlights.
Hi,
The comments and information supplied above are good and correct. About the dimmer function, when I took delivery of my EK last year the dimmer seemed unsteady. Following advice, I repeatedly swept the dimmer switch across its full range, left and right, thus cleaning up the dimmer switch and ...

Re: Supplementary turn signal lights on sides of car?
Been toying with this idea too for the last few years. Just haven't found the right inspiration yet that looks period correct. Was toying with the idea of 3D printed stars/slashes but then they would look a bit ordinary compared to the chromed ones. And they would look ordinary as they would be 3D ...

Re: Supplementary turn signal lights on sides of car?
Three guard "slashes" on an EK.
Special badge.
Front mudflaps (too low).
Curb crawlers (too low).
Accessory guard mirrors.
Front fender wind splits.
Aerial (usually only one side).
GTS guard flutes (Western Sydney bogan-grade upgrade).
Cheers,
Harv
Good suggestions, thank you. Will consider.

Supplementary turn signal lights on sides of car?
Hi,
I am considering installing supplementary turn signal lights on the sides of the EK Holden. However, I do not wish to merely attach a modern-day side marker light to the sides of each of the front fenders. I am hoping to disguise the lights, perhaps by 3D printing, as some other period-correct ...

Re: Installation instructions front fender ornament package
Thanks, Harv. These instructions for installing the ornament worked. Similarly your information about installing windscreen washer nozzle worked too. I installed both at the the same time, as it was convenient to drill all three (3) of the necessary holes in one session. Results as pictured ...

Did I misunderstand the topic? I clicked to see who was being labelled the Westward Ho. Instead I ended up with a picture showing outdoor furniture, overlooking a street.

Tow bar for EK sedan please
G'day,
I am seeking a tow bar for my EK sedan please. I am based in Melbourne, so am prepared to pay for delivery if your tow bar is beyond sensible driving range.
Hope to hear from you.
Regards,
Andrew

Re: NASCO weathershield
Hi Harv,
Did you obtain a resolution for your enquiry about weathershields? As it happens, I am now seriously considering trying to obtain one, but there seems to be little information about them (including installation instructions).

Re: Hand-crank for grey motor
This was a most unexpected topic for me to see on this car forum. Is this a late April 1st joke, or are you seriously contemplating installing a crank handle on your FB/EK Holden?

Re: Review Mirror glass replacement.
Thanks, Mick. Your note helped prompt me to keep raking through the web pages until something worked. In this case, using Attachments. It's by no means elegant, but has worked once so far.
