Re: Red Rattler Revamp
Hi Blacky, what is your current thinking about the coolant issue? I have been mulling it over and reckon there must just be no movement of coolant. A fellow like you would have checked that head gasket holes were all aligned with block and head, so that isnt it. It sounds like pump is not circulatin...

Re: Neils Frankenstein Ute
I'm pretty sure I have the same booster on my ute. I had leak trouble with my first one after I adjusted it and I think it was because I didn't fully stop the inner nut from turning when I adjusted the little domed rod that goes up against master cylinder piston. Just in case: disconnect your battery before you do anything. None of the powered wires on the switch are covered.

Re: Neils Frankenstein Ute
Hi Neil, don't suppose that the new adjustment may have the booster actioned continuously?
I had this issue with mine. Brett

Re: Leroy the EK Ute
Hi Joe. Just spent a few hours reading through Leroy's journey, as I saw the recent posts and realised I had not followed this build through. What a great story it was. You have a gift with words that made it a real pleasure to read. Lot's of great engine and technical info in there too, and of cour...

Re: Family Affair Ek Ute
The spacers stop the arms bending in when you torque the nuts up to spec. As an old friend on this forum once said so aptly, 'do it once, do it right'.

An inch/pound for little stuff including screws and a foot/pound for bigger nuts and bolts. Fairly standard kit in the day.
