Front guards and bonnet
SOLD. I no longer have for sale (🤣) an FB and EK front guard both in poor, but salvagable condition and an EK bonnet ( Project 2's) which is pretty straight and ok except for rust in both the adjusting bolt mounting blocks, which I started to undo but moved on to a better bonnet (Wilma's) before ...

Re: Neil's FB Station Wagon
Barney is feeling cold and old. Oh, that's me.
Actually, he is running nicely and waiting patiently for his steering upgrade which is happening in a few weeks. I've been moving a few spare parts on lately and Barney has recently had his share of admiring visitors who know him and Wilma from the ...

You are doing great work on the wagon Neil. I am really enjoying being a spectator of what is a really comprehensive restoration.

Re: Sedan fuel tank
Some tank photos for Robbo.
Pretty solid everywhere except a small hole at the fuel sender unit. Old sender remains are still there and screw holes will need drilling out and retapping. JB weld or solder would sort out hole from the look.

Re: Steve & Josh's EK wagon build
Had a look through the build and enjoyed it. Coming from a current steering column engineering journey, it seems that the steering column doesn't look compliant with ADRs. Looks like it has the original u-bolt setup on the steering wheel end and no breakaways. It would not collapse properly in a ...

Re: Project 2.
Yes Blacky, for a standard column, space is a liitle easier but still with the issue of connecting the units up and supporting the end of the column. For collapsible setup with the mandatory 127mm length of çollapsible column and space for the breakaway fittings, it makes it impossible ( for me ...

Re: Project 2.
Yes. The concept is sound, but the logistics don't work. A pic of what causes the problem.
