8) Thanx for the numbers,
Is it possible that we could request from the fans a sample colour of our cars if people have them painted (cars). The colours I would like to see are Corana Grey for the body, Artic Beige for the insert.
Thanx again

Great suggestion ipg.

If anyone has an original colour sample chart or similar and they are prepared to scan and send to me I can organise posting the colours up.

Remember that the colour chart would probably have faded somewhat and the scanning/computer work may change the colours slightly too.

regards

how about taking a pic of a panel and paint shoping a square out and make our own colour chart?
might work at least it will give some kind of idea
might still loose a a bit of the colour but

I would love to see pics of individual cars in original colour noting its code and colour so we can get a good idea of the overall look. Could be a good tool to also note which original colours are missing out there.

 Everyone knows Red goes faster, therefore the raw materials are harder to catch hence the expense

You're not wrong there, Stewart.....J-Peg files play havoc with some Green's and Turquoise colours..just look at how many colours John Reed's Turquoise EK looks in different photos!!Betcha Parisian Lilac would also suffer big time too!

Hi folk,
I have the official Dulux GMH colour chart for FB/EK's from 1960 to 1962... showing what colours were available for each model in each year... including Duco and Dulon..

Sadly, I don't work with Photo bucket any more.. and I believe the chart file is a .jpg...

I'll try and attach it here.. if not, if someone could be so kind as to tell me how to post a pic directly from my files - I will post it in this section.

here goes...Image nup, wouldn't up load..

If we can't get access to my files, I can copy/paste - but fear it might come out messy...
