Front floor done.

Rear floor out and all members treated and painted with zinc before welding!

New rear section being hammer welded in. Ive got to say its frustrating getting these pans to fit right. Does anyone know a good floor maker? I still need the left rear.

You all do realise that Im making a big sacrafice resurrecting the old girl!
I could be out driving this on the weekends instead!

Oh well such is life!

Think of how much money your saving by not racing, the more you can spend on the old girl.

You know for some reason building cars is like a magnet you just cant leave them alone. My family is yet to complain although I haven't ventured out of the garage for 3 days :o
Ive been busy reconstructing the cancer at the bottom of the door pillar, not easy and very time consuming everything has to line up!

great panel/rust work. what sort of colour combo are you going for. staying original or going custom?

Stewart,
The original color CAPRICORN CORAL if my memory serves me right, was very successful especially with chicks 8) . 20 years on and I can honestly say what was holden thinking? Im still not 100% sure what color its going to end up, always wanted a black car, this could be my chance.
Im going to flick through some magazines to see what inspires me then make a decision, got to love it from then on I suppose cause if I dont it will be an expensive mistake!

Tried the flat black look first, then the gloss. Sometimes wish she was still flat black.
The interior is silver and grey, Recaro buckets and wagon rear seat.
Dont get me wrong gloss black looks wild in the right light, reflects everything just a pain in the arse to keep clean!

first time i saw a side on shot man that looks kool. i'm with you on the flat paint, shiny paint looks good but half the time i don't think it's worth the time and effort. i get just as many lookers with flat paint as i have with shiny :D
