EK/FB Ute Wanted too

Post by toadstool »

Hi I'm new to this forum. I'm looking at resurrecting my passion for old holdens and am looking to buy an EK or FB ute. Mainly looking for a restoration or around towner but would prefer minimal rust or body damage. I might even consider an FC or FE ute.

In my younger days I had an EK wagon that was pretty ordinary, but sold it to someone who restored it into what it actually was, an FB. I'll dig out a photo and post when I learn how. I'd be interested to know if it's still getting around. It was in the Canberra area around 20 years ago so I guess it could be anywhere now.

Hi all,

Apologies for the lack of response to the messages on my request for a ute. I've been offline for the last couple of months trying to get a house on the market. However, I'm still keen. Looking for something not too far from Canberra (i.e up to 600km radius - definetley not WA). Looking to spend up to about $4K.

Jimoz59 - Is your friends fb ute still for sale? If so, have you any info on it?
