Can anyone tell me what 741-1023 would be? It may also be 1022, the tag is a little beat up.

Trim styles FB-EK

Post by mr.jones »

Following on from Steve's great example, I have started a section in my Old Holden shed showing most of the trim combinations http://gallery.oldholden.com/Mr_Jones/ as you can see I have also started adding all other old holden trims as well.

Any pics, codes or corrections are welcome.

Admins you are welcome to use the info in anyway you see fit, including copying the whole section to your site.

Enjoy :D

Hi all,
has anyone come across trim code 633-815 Mephisto & Chianti Red/Horizontal Fleck but with plain top bolsters the same as the lower bolster? Both front and rear benchs dont appear to have been ever recovered.

I'm also curious to know if any FB Specials were ever optioned with white steering wheels. By all accounts from previous owners mine has always been stock but the wheel appears to be a black one painted over. I couldn't see a reason why someone would just paint the wheel and do nothing else to the rest of the car. The car does have other options such as Warmaride heater, handbrake warning light, boot light, Holden Deluxe Radio, "H" emblems on hubcaps, etc. Was maybe thinking the white wheel was an option too??

Ok,
now I'm really wondering about these white steering wheels

This recent add on Car sales shows a reasonably stock FB special with a white wheel as well! Now I'm think they might have been an option. 8)
Any thoughts out there??

Also noted in the add the possiblilty that it may be fitted with the heavy duty radiator option although no cross bars appear to be fitted in front of the radiator.

Yep your right, but there was a heavy duty radiator option for the FB & EK manuals after the release of the Hydro in the EK. It also included the cross braces. They are a pretty rare sight in an FB by all accounts. :egeek:
