CRS Adaptor - Turbo 350 to Holden straight 6

Post by Mephious »

Gday Gents

Having dramas with an adaption plate I got from CRS to fit a V8 turbo 350 to the holden 179. At a loss for the converter (turbo 350 type) just doesnt seem to fit. Using a brand new holden 6 flex plate and the bolt holes arent lining up.

Anyone had any experience with these ?

Prob sorted guys - note to anyone using one of these adaption kits.

The converter must be the old old OLD type for the turbo 350.

Hahahaha just preparing for the V8 guys , nothing special with the 179. The sedan has drained way too much cash unfortunately ... its like 8k over budget and im dipping into other cash now unfortunately which wasnt ment for the cars ( luckily I have a forgiving fiancee').

The van is prepared thou , 9inch , chassis kit, LX master cyclinder with HQ cals and turbo 350. When the cash is saved up again will slot the front end out, rack-n-pinion and column will be all that is required.

Unfortunately the converter from the old old OLD turbo 350 didnt work either ............ so I have to get one fashioned to suit ........... $480 + GST !
