Looking for an OEM engine oil dipstick for a early 60's Chevy 283.

Mr OZ EK,

Sorry but i do not have one, i do however have the original tube, its a bit battered and has been brazed around the edge that goes into the block.

yours if you want it.

Greg, thanks for taking the time to have a look, appreciated!....I'm ok for a tube, still have one in the block. :thumbsup:

If anyone might have a dipstick the one I need has the flat finger hook, the same as an early 60's Chev, my motor is from a 63 Impala.

I think I still have one from a 68 307-should be the same?

Learn something every day.....Apparently the colour of the plug / tip denotes the length of the dipsticks that were used in the late 1960's & 70's Chev motors.
