Club spanner day

Post by Blacky »

We had a spanner day today for those members who don’t have the facilities or the ability to do their own work on their rigs , was a nice -but cold - day , only got to about 16 🥶🥶🥶
When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.

First on the hoist was Ann’s EK for a brake job which was made bloody difficult by someone leaving their locknut key at home 🤣🤣

Then we sorted out a hard to close drivers door on John’s FB. Involved taking the door off and slotting the holes in the top hinge to get some more adjustment

And of course in the middle we had snags in buns for lunch and much bench racing was involved

The end.

Wow Blacky you certainly have a wonderful shed and yard there. Good on you for sharing it with others. Those days must be so helpful to everyone and good fun too.
