You forgot the bit about the keys

Central locking come soon the Neil? I am thinking about it for Barney. Kate wants to use the ute, so makes it a bit easier.

Embarrassingly I had to go to the reception desk of the motel and ask for an old school coat hanger Clay  and was lucky enough to be able to get the coat hanger down between the glass and the door and get the end of the hanger on the bottom of the lock knob and lift it. Maccas was going cold and the beer was getting hot  great end to the day after doing 800 odd Ks
I have central locking Brett that was the problem the drivers side is the lead and if you lock that one it locks the other however the passenger side one had been playing up, I think the actuator has come loose, and was not really locking however on this occasion it decided to play the game :wtf: :wtf:
Moral to the story "take the bloody keys with you"

It happens to the best of us!

After returning from Birdwood Mill Museum on Sat to the hotel room my daughter said let’s grab a hot chocolate! Great idea, off we go to the servo then got back to the motel room and we are both standing at the motel room door looking at each other for the key! That was safely inside the room 🙁

Last year I locked my keys in the Ute at All Holden Day! Said to daughter don’t worry one of the Holden owners keys will open the Ute! Must have tried a dozen keys no luck. Good thing we live nearby.

Not a huge help if the dongle is on the keyring which is hanging out of the ignition ...... :esad: :esad:

Need the old school magnetic keyholder stuck under the car somewhere. Or under the tray where no thief would think to look .....
