Then I grabbed a piece of 100 x 6 flat bar to use for the bracket, had to make it 60mm wide through the base of the seat so I fired up the rotary plasma cutter and knifed the sides down - that’s that bit done, tomorrow will mount the console and paint it hopefully Image

Got the rest of it sorted today, but ran out of hifill primer - my panel beating skills or lack thereof means hifill gets used a LOT In my shed ……

Who would have thought a beer can was the perfect size to rub out the scallops on an FB seat side ImageImage

Remove the cup holders and there is a strip of flat bar that screws to the 100x6

Old seat out - oops moment - forgot about the bit that sits under the back window- found some Masonite in the shed , cut a piece to fit then off over to Drews to cover it in black marine carpet - will do for now but will redo it in blue later - also going to fill the seatbelt holes in the seat which got forgotten this time round.
