We had 3 EKs, 2 FBs, Philip in his AP5 Regal push button torqueflite and Pete in a 90s Celica turn up for the short drive up Port Road to the fort this arvo. The boys put on a great show parading and firing of the 4lb and larger guns, as well as their Martini Henri carbine rifles. Charmaine, Lisa, Philip and I went for a quick drink at the Exeter Hotel, Exeter, to celebrate Phil's birthday.

When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.

There is a right way and a wrong way and then there is my way which is usually the long way.
