Meet Monty
Meet Monty
After 11 + years in storage it’s time to restore my EK wagon nicknamed Monty.
Plans are to complete a sympathetic restoration retaining as many original features and paint as possible.
We are 2 weeks into removing and replacing all rust. Here are some progress pictures.

Re: Meet Monty
nice work , looks like a pretty solid starting point you have there !
When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.

I think overall he’s the n ok nick. The floors are bad, all need replacing. On the upside all sills are good, just looks like this was a Vic country car on dirt roads. I’ve dislodged what looks like sedimentary rock from every orifice up the front. A few more days of cutting and welding and we should be almost ready to start the assembly process.
