All Holden Day 2022

Post by Errol62 »

Perfect weather and a good turn out by club members, cars and spectators yesterday down at Wigley Reserve,Glenelg. I was too busy looking busy and chin wagging to take many photos this year.

Here are a a few that I did take. A couple of survivor Monaros impressed me, as well as 30000 mile EJ Premier.ImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Some detail shots, particularly I was interested in the stock X2 throttle linkage. Shannon Green FE has been passed down from parents to son. Had a respray in acrylic in 2000. Potential colour for my van.ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

What a day.
Started at 6.30 am and drove off at 4.30 pm. Another big turn out of cars and again we shut the gate at 9.30am.
A big thank you to the club members who all jumped in and helped on the day.

A special FX ex speedway car, more than worth a passing look.
Grant the owner has this one and a speed car with cross flow heads.

Des West's FX (not to be confused with his earlier red one, which ran #27 too).

Cheers,

I love the wide 5 hub / wide white steelie combo - if I ever got myself another humpy I would be going that route for wheels and tyres
