Hi Rob
Might have an OK one.
Did you re-kit the drag link?

Hey Dave - yeah we pulled it down and it's in really good shape - just the ball on the pitman arm is pretty badly worn.

I think Graham Sills has one - he's checking today for me

There was a box of the balls at Balaclava Holden, like they needed to be riveted on to the arm. Someone would have bought them. About the only thing caught my eye. I should have grabbed them.

I assume that would require a special press or die to rivet them on?

Yes or a Smithy. Thought struck me that the dealer must have had the capability but they look like they would suit Pitman and idler arms as well as inner tie rod ends.

Can you get the existing one metal sprayed and remachined ????
When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.

There was also a process around where they injected ball joints with a silicone compound.
