SA club cruise to Willunga Market

Post by Errol62 »

Forecast weather is challenging, but outlook looks promising at this stage.Image
It is spring of course so change may be imminent.

Cars are marshalling at Bunnings Mile End. Let’s hope a few turn up. Buggered if I’m driving down there though. I will join the posse somewhere along the way. Last night I moved the Landcruiser so I could get the ute out. No 2 daughter came home about 10 and parked the Golf behind the cruiser, but then Raff came home and parked the Impreza in the way. I will have to see if I can put it behind the Audi so I can get the Holden out. First world problems.

Four cars in all turned out. Not too bad considering the weather prediction, but it didn't rain anyway. The ladies enjoyed the market while the boys chatted and watched the passing parade, and I caught up with the neighbors. Alec from Aldinga came for a look. He is hoping to get his EK sedan on the road soon. Then we tootled up the main street for a shed tour at my place. Roger went home with a sedan spare wheel clamp to try and modify for his ute. Good luck with it Roger.ImageImageImageImage

Thanks for posting the photo's Clay.
Good to get the wagon out for a run but diff noise is increasing or I'm get older and more sensitive.

I grabbed a diff out of an EH and couple weeks, out on my brother in-law''s station. It still had clean oil in it.
3.55 ratio and seems fairly solid.
There is a HR also there but sitting in the rusted out floors. Next time I go I might put the diff out.

Cheers,
Roger
There is a right way and a wrong way and then there is my way which is usually the long way.

You can’t have too many spare banjo diffs when your running red motors Roger.
