FB’s of Gove

Post by Blacky »

Been working up here in Gove the last few months on and off, bumped into a bloke who owns an FB ute 😎👍 and lives in town here - we got talking as you would expect and as it turns out the bloke down th ex end of the little cul de sac he lives in has an FB 215 as well !!! What are the odds ?????

So I went and introduced myself last night and we had a couple of beers and shot the shit for a while , was a bit dark for iPhone pics but I am going to try and get the pair of them together and grab some photos in the next few days 👍

What I found - he also has a very tidy 60 series GXL for a daily and an immaculate freshly restored shorty 40 Image

The paint lets it down but it’s a good solid body , so is the sedan.
The bloke who owns the ute is not going to get it painted until he moves south when he retires.

Had a HQ power steering box in it with HQ steering arms, idler arm etc !!! Never seen it done before - got a feeling the centre link has been narrowed so guessing it’s not legal
