It was always strange how they used an 8 inch or 8.2 in hilux - prado and fj cruisers - re-gearing was required when doing proper offroad with bigger tires etc and they dont last long - i ended up putting a curry rear end in mu fj to have some peice of mind as the last thing you want is having to pull pinnions out on side of the road in order to limp out on front diff
They should of just gone a 9 inch and be done with it

He's saved his money so it's down to him - it's an auction buy so a bit of a risk but for the price we have some room for any possible repairs and some of the more serious engine stuff already done.

My young bloke would kill for that - we are putting a 80 series chassis under his HZJ75 , now he wants to put an LS in it as well ....
When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.

Yep, an LS may be wicked. But 540 cubes of Dart block would be downright sinful

And just remind me why fleets always fit Sunraysias even though they no longer come factory with split rims. Personally I'd rather have the factory steelies.

There is ONE minesite that wont allow alloy wheels on site so we ordered it with these wheels, cost an extra $850 and the stealer kept the factory alloys  I told our purchasing people to just buy it with the standard alloys and get the steelies fitted afterwards so we can sell the original wheels but apparently that was all too hard     easy when its not your money ...........................
