Ute guard trim pieces wanted

Post by Brett027 »

Has anyone got a set of stainless guard trim pieces for ute front guards they would part with? The ones that run along where the moulded line is from behind headlight back to door opening.
Got the holes but nothing to put in them!

Hi Brett,

I have one. Not sure what side or condition but I will have a look in the shed today and let you know.

I’ve got one from Grace’s ute bingle. May need a light polish to get the imperfections out...

Oh. Should have read this before messaging you Brett. Just fished it out and it is driver side also. Slightly bent as well. Greg's will be a better proposition I would say.Image

Thanks Clay, I guess there are people who straighten them out professionally?

I picked up a pretty straight passenger side on monday as a spare if you get stuck - the rhs has a few creases I’m not sure would come out

Thanks very much for the offer. I have plenty of time so it's probably better if you hang on to your spare and in the meantime I'll keep looking. If anyone see's some in their travels maybe let me know please😀

Just an update: managed to track down a set of what are described as 'mint' trim pieces in Bendigo. I'm hopeful😀.

here's hoping, I don't have any here or I would have said something.

I came across someone who has a good passenger side one and wants to swap it for an equally good passenger front EK one. If anyone is looking, and has a swap message me and I'll put you in touch with him.
