Club Run June 27

Post by Blacky »

Hello everyone, remember us ????

We have decided its time to kick things off again , with a "toe in the water "run this Saturday , June 27 - so knock the dust off them and pump the tyres up !!!

Its going to be a low key "Covid cruise " , we are going to meet at Shannons clubroom carpark at 1PM and we are off for a picnic run to Serpentine Dam, the idea is everyone packs themselves some afternoon tea and a refreshing cool or warm beverage and we will go for a nice drive in the hills then park up for a bit of afternoon tea and the obligatory BS session. Bring a chair !!!

Serpentine Dam has a café with a good sized carpark and a nice viewing area , from what I can see the café is open but only selling take away , no indoor seating at the minute. The drive we have planned is through some smaller back roads to keep the gang together and avoiding the main highway where possible - estimated duration will be around an hour , its an 80km trip.

Hope to see you there, its also only a short drive to Jarrahdale Pub if anyone wants to head there for an ale afterwards - yes Stoney I am looking at you :-)

We will be resuming the Friday night cruises again as of July so please keep July 3 free , meeting at the zoo as per normal and we will head somewhere warm for a feed.

August 8 or thereabouts will be the AGM , at a yet to be organised location as Shannons clubrooms are still off limits.

Kind Regards , your everloving Committee.

I keep finding my beer fridge empty, and I can't find most of my tools. All this time I've been blaming Number One Son, when it was really just an extended WA Club run

Righto - weather looks horrible this Saturday so the committee has decided to put this back a week - we will have another go on July 4 at the same time - might head to Neils afterwards if he will be home ? ???

Gazza (western wagon ) sent me a present during the week - looks like he has a bit of a side business going on and he is knocking off company postpaks !! Image

He sent me a couple of flesh-lights , you might need to redesign them mate, they are a bit too loose and way too short ??? Image
