Hey Blacky,

Don't have one but you could redrill it if it fits without hitting the harmonic pulley.

Go spend $5 at the local hardware and get a later pump. Oh hang on that was thirty years ago.

I had the same issue with my ute. Was easier to buy a new pump for about $25. You want the EH to HR, or maybe it is HD.

There is a couple on evil bay but not cheap - was just contemplating these pumps and has anyone noticed the now available pumps dont really fit the old pulleys? The old pulleys have 4 raised slots or strengthening ridges in the flange surface that sat in between the four prongs of the older model water pumps - but sit proud of the new and essentially mean they wont fit properly on any new pump - why would that have been neglected - surely would cause a bit of wobble innpulley ImageImage

yep, I put washers (the same thickness as the ridges) between the two faces - so the bolts can do the clamping they are supposed to do

Hmmm but then you will be slightly out of line with other pulleys?

you are only out of line as much as you would be with it sitting on the ridges...the thing is - everyone who has these new pumps is about 1mm out of alignment

Blacky, I think this is what you are asking for...if you don't find one locally, or drill one out - give me a yell. Patrick

Grey motor pulley won't fit. It's an early red motor pump isn't it?
