Forester carried the wheels for me[/quote]

Built on the impreza platform originally st least. Both great cars. Just don't fit my ever increasing in size surfboards.

drizzling rain all day but I found some time to put the wheels on the ute ... handy with that electric jack - once it's in place you can get up off the wet ground and just push the button.

red is a bit more subtle with the chrome bits on

And if you want to sell the HR rims, I'm happy to buy them.

Rob
I got the tyres taken off the wheels that were on the car (18 months after I started talking about them) ... two of the wheels are HR ones but one is pretty crusty.

Rob...there's one good one there if you want it (for postage costs)

Considering that I've put 175R13C tyres on the ute, I had thought about 'making room' for a 175R13C spare tyre, but ended up going with a 155R13C - which, when fully inflated, just squeezes into the 162mm high space.

The spares cupboard had a spare wheel bracket that could be cut down to suit the ute.

I reckon that's a great idea Patrick. I've got a spare sedan one and have never seen the ute version, so know what to do now. Thanks🙂

When I got back from WA, my garage clock had stopped... about time I replaced the battery ... I'm not getting anything done in there

Now that we've had a dry day, I checked if my 'modification' was any good - it's not pretty but I extended this gutter so that water, petals and leaves have more trouble getting into the battery compartment

I put these blue leads on to match the blue of the starter motor, the positive lead, battery top and washer bottle top ... still runs exactly the same ... might turn the coil up the other way
