The Belmont badge belies the absolute luxury in which Paddy wallows. I am as green with envy as the beer drunk and attire to be worn on the upcoming day of the saint after which his mother named him.

Drove it around daily for 3 months, until the radiator weeping got a bit too much for the commute...

Had a face like Conor McGregor

Was going to ‘just put in the radiator’ but ended up with a facelift...

Dad used to get “executive driven” Holdens through a mate accountant at GMH Elizabeth. Went with him to pick up the hq prem we had. Before though, we had a Spanish Red HT kingswood, 186 manual, bronze goldy interior. First Holden with a plastic grille, a dubious honour. But I’ve never seen another Spanish Red one, except saw a gumtree add couple years ago for a grecian white over Spanish red two tone prem. At the same time my mates dad had a steel blue metallic hk prem with slippery diff and 186. HQ would have been out a year or two so I would have been about 14.

Serious concern over the missing box of blondes.... we are going through a toilet roll shortage at present... do you know something about boxes of blondes?

Looks very neat and original, GPI.. not sure I'm in love with the grille... sadly, many out there will not realise it didn't come with one like that.

Plans?

frats,
Rosco

Your a man after my own heart gpi I said to my better half yesterday that if I had to self quarantine I would be worrying about how much funny paper I needed but how many cartons of Pure Blondes I would need.

186 manual, drums all around.
Has a brougham bench seat but other than that it’s mostly original.

Errol62 wrote:Thanks for pointing out about the firethorn. Dead spit for the old kingy. The two tones look a bit like a taxi. The white doesn’t suit it. I reckon it looked better with the red roof although tan vinyl would set it off.

Here’s the secondhand radiator I put in

I had a pleasant surprise when I pulled the stone tray off, no rust!

Finding a decent grille is hard, this one had zero cracks

Sanding, masking and painting took a good 2 days, not to mention over a hundred bucks of badges
