SA All Holden Day 2020

Post by Wrongway Roger »

I wish to let all Holden owners know, that the 10th All Holden Day will on 19th January 2020
We have secured Wigley Reserve again in the heart of Glenelg, 9am to 4.00 pm and still $15 enter per car, which includes your 3 raffle tickets.
Spectators are free.
We will have trade stands, food and drinks but it is a dry zone. The Watermark pub is just across the road so not far to grab a beer.

If you are travelling from the country or interstate, there a plenty of options for accommodation nearby.

Proudly presented by the FB-EK Holden Car club of South Australia.

. . . tempting to drive across for it. But I also have firmly imprinted memories of SA in January when it's well over the ton in the water bag.

Come on Rob, fine and mild at 35 in Adelaide in Jan, ha ha.

Working on couple of things for this years AHD as it is our 10th event. Still remember the first one, where we hoped the Holden clubs would come along. Had around 100 cars and we were wrapped.
We have had great support over the years.
Now the All Holden Day is a fixture on the car events, here in Adelaide.

As thing develop I will post them so you can see what you may be missing.

Cheers
Roger

A call out to all our club members, who can give a hand at the All Holden Day.
Always need more hands early one to setup and direct cars on to Wigley Reserve.

Mark out so we can keep the lineup straight is on Saturday 18th at 1.30pm.
Many hands will get this done in couple of hours.

A couple of us did photo shoot for the Adertiser paper yesterday, so will post the story when it hit the paper.
A lot of photos taken on the day but only expect to a couple make it.
Thanks to Lennie and Philip for bring their rides out.

We have done All Holden Day shirts this year, but due to lack of any young busty wenches to model it, you get me, 😅😅
I did not know I had sexy knees.

Cheers Roger

When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.

The Watermark pub is on board again so we should drop in and have a beer or two when we finish.

Hi all,
I have recovered for the 10TH All Holden Day and my stress levels have dropped down to normal.
We got rained on driving to Glenelg but I choose not to use the wipers as they would likely attract more rain. ha ha.
A big sorry to the farmers and the firey still working on the fire grounds.

The roll up of cars was slower than last years but we had just under 300 cars on the day.

A big thanks to the club members who helped direct cars, cooked on the BBQ, served up steak sanger, hot-dogs, etc, sold drinks, raffle tickets and T shirts.
We very much appreciate the sponsors and the trades stall holders who set up on the day.

The weather held off with only a couple of light shower so a great day.
