When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.

Ok, I’ve finally got a plan I’m going ahead with.
VT 304 fuel injected with the TH700 and 9” with disc brakes all round.

Ordered a front end off Curlys southern customs with power steering.
Building my own chassis.
Alien steering column.
Air conditioning.

Mate I had a VT commondore wagon diff narrowed , a new LSD centre and stud pattern changed for the red rattler for $1500 odd , way cheaper than a 9" , half the weight , and quieter - especially in a van.

Assume this was the VT Series 1 BW78, not the Series 2 BW80? I've got a narrowed BW78 with LSD (ex VP Conformadoor) behind the wagon. Similar cost to Blacky. No complaints so far.
