FB delivery

Post by Trev »

A recent purchase from a regular contributor to this forum.
This was a Van that has had the roof chopped off and replaced with a wagon roof, wagon taillights and the tailgate laid forward.
He did an awesome job but fortunately for me I get to finish it off.
I want to do this build thread on here because it is a more permanent record than Facebook where everything disappears.

Good onya Trev,
That looks like a cool car. What are your plans for it? Keen to see more pics along the way and glad to see your build thread will be on here for us to follow along.

Stephen

Finally after all the threats of scrapping it by the former owner. Great to see this in your hands and you back on the forum Trev.
Cheers

Plan is to get it on the road with minimal body work.
It’s got HR running gear 186, twin carbs, supra 5 speed box. It came with an LJ Torana rear end I’ll be using.
I do visit this forum every now and then, mostly for info or to read stuff I remember was done to cars over the years.

Looking forward to seeing this one on the road finally - its a great looking rig - I would have liked to grab it myself but I think I have enough shit to do
When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.

Looking forward to watching this one progress and got to agree this forum is the best place for documenting build threads.

Great to see its in capable hands and look forward to its progress.

Hey Trev, Nice one but you will have to cut some windows in the side for the kids to see out.

Thanks guys.
This is staying a van, the kids are old enough to not want to hang around with their parents now.
