I'll check mine out as it should be going in this week as well - they may have made you and FB one pre indicators? would be my guess as to what's happened - he has all the sockets for sure and they were a pretty close match to OEM from memory.
Rob

Wally no sockets mate so you should check yours let me know if you have them if you do I will be ringing them, my harness had all the rear sockets and like you I assumed (never assume anything I was once told) that it would have the fronts.

FB are not pre indicators. Referring to the interior light connections. The switches were changed at ek. I would expect the wiring loom to terminate at the front lighting connection block so you’d get tail, rear indicator and stop light sockets but no front sockets. And by the way the reverse lights on commercials would simply power both rear indicators from the column switch.

If it’s any help, according to this book

Image

Indicators (flashers) and dome light door switches were only on Special models from FE to EK.
FE to FB had “Pillar” dome light switches on 217’s (Business sedans)

My FB only manual also indicates this.

Cheers,

John

Clay is right the harness terminates and because I ordered a Ute harness this may answer a couple of the questions however the interior light stuff is not really an issue i can deal with that, it is not having the front sockets as we know they seem to get damaged and or have disappeared it would be good if they did supply but it has been said already that they are not made aftermarket, Rares even sell what they say are the right ones but these do not fit so I go back to the old "improvise adapt and overcome"

I pulled one apart to see condition and ease to resolder new wires if this what you want let me know. Both are in good condition

When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.
