McLaren Vale Vintage and Classic

Post by Errol62 »

Not an FB EK in sight this morning. Over 1000 cars. Plenty of Monaros and humpys among the jags, mgs and fords. A couple of cars caught my eye:ImageImageImage

On again today and a few nice earlys on showImageCompletely original second owner HD Prem, according to the owner, a member of my local club.ImageI didn’t get around to correcting him on the ubiquitous HQ side mirrors.

This EJ had been lovingly restored and is now on the market. I don’t get it.ImageImageImage

Contingent of nice humpys ImageImageImageImageImageImageSurf Green duo tone FJ my favourite, just completed restoration and now on the market. I just don’t get it!

A familiar FBImageImageWhere are you Glen?

If the HD had been an X2, it would have been the exact twin of the one I had for sixteen years . . .

Apparently the first owner was foreman of the paint shop at Woodville and the car went down the paint line five times. I must say the paint looked almost new.

Beautiful cars Clay, thanks.

C'mon mate, I reckon an EJ sedan in between your Panno and Ute would look super sweet, and you wouldn't have to work on it as it's ready to go! :wink34:

He Clay, I could use another board for the wagon.
An old crusty one with dodgy repairs would be best.
Cheers,
Roger

This event is happening again in April 2023. The SA club events committee (Charmaine and me) are planning a run and will hopefully get enough interest to feature the cars at one of the wineries.

So there wasn't much interest from the club, but Ele and I went along with my local club. A few Cs of interest. First one belongs to gledges sis in law.ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage
