It is staying as is Harv, though I did run a file around the cover gasket face for a better seal.

Thanks Rob. I can give it a bit more clearance at rhe pedal now m confident it is letting go before I hit the floor with the pedal.

I got a proper tachometer from one of the Torana boys, bit the bullet, and drilled a couple of big holes in the dash. Works like it should. The cheap one I had was jerky, then just stopped working.

On "8" you'll be struggling to reach 4000.

Finally changing the head over. Here are the plugs. No 1 to the right.
I may have damaged some of the valve stem seals when fitting softer springs. Hopefully that accounts for some oiliness on no 2 particularly.
