Yes mate. I’m looking forward to a big flog over your way, and maybe later on a closed door respray. Then I just might have to chat to you about the bondage gear….

Easy job, use the existing ones to pull a draw wire up the column when you pull the existing one out- 5 minute job

I’ve done it a number of times blacky, maybe in five minutes but always seems longer as the end of the tails catch here and there. Then there is the risk of dripping the fasteners down the column. Anyway it will all be worth it to have properly working indicators again.

Installed the new switch. Works perfect.Image
I'm hoping this was all it was.ImageAlthough dark blue is driver side front. Problem was passenger side front. I hope I can fix this one to use on the van. I will need to run power from the trimatic neutral safety switch through the indicator switch if I want the indicators as reverse lights.

Found a dry solder joint on the light blue wire. Probably the issue.

Dry solder joint: that's a relief. Hopefully you re-soldered the frayed dark blue wire also.

I will replace all the leads before I use it in the van Rob. The wire is very brittle. I put a NOS one in the ute and it is working great. Went for a test drive and realised I haven’t reconnected the speedo though……
