Post by Wrongway Roger »

It's on again. The 8th All Holden Day in Adelaide.
9 am to 4 pm at Wigley Reserve at Glenelg.
$ 15 to enter which now include 3 raffle tickets

There will be trade stands, food and drink available.
It is dry zone but the Watermark pub is just across the road so not far to get a beer.

Proudly presented by the FB-EK Holden Car Club of South Australia

Hi All,
Only 6 more sleeps until the All Holden Day 2018. If last year is any thing to go by, we expect to have over 350 cars again.
Lots of interest from the Holden clubs in Adelaide which is very good. the AHD is now a fixture on the car shows for Adelaide.

We have 10 confirmed trade stands this years and have decided on a Mega Raffle, where there will winners drawn every half hour from 11.00 am.
Each winner gets to pick their own prize from the Raffle table, similar to what we did at the Nationals in Renmark in 2016.

Goodie bays were packed last Friday at Retro Richards place, so thanks to all who attended.

I might even give the crusty wagon a wash.

A great day but a long day. Weather was a little on the hot side but a great turn out as we have just over 300 cars on the day.
Great support for a number of the car club so a big thank from the club.

A thank to all the club members who helped on the Saturday to mark out the reserve. A very hot afternoon spent measuring and marking.
A BIG thanks to all who cooked on the BBQ, assembled steak sandwiches, served hotdogs, direct cars to parking spots, manned the entrance and heaps more.
The Mega raffle ( Retro Richard ) was a success, with winner every half an hour who were able to pick there own prize.

I had my son take a heap off photos so I will post start posting these.

As you know it takes a lot of work to put on a show but when you see the turnout it is very rewarding.
